to a distant buyer and
Never give out personal financial information
such as your bank account or social security number.
Beware of distant buyers
(from Nigeria, Romania, Ukraine, Spain & Netherlands in particular but not exclusively)
and offers to pay more than your asking price
with you then returning the extra money via Western Union. Banks will often cash counterfeit checks then later hold you responsible when the check doesn’t clear. Beware of buyers wanting to use questionable escrow services or ones that have been closed such as BidPay. Whenever possible transact locally and verify all payments before product shipment. If something sounds too good to be true then it probably is. Always remember
